PEACE SPEECH TO NIGERIANS BY ABATI EMMANUEL

NIGERIANS they say we are the happiest people on earth, amidst out troubles and problem, we still have lord of the ribs, laugh matters, nights of a thousand laughs, just to mention a few.

Others say God gave every nation its own natural disasters, like earthquake, hurricane (with different names like: Harvey, Irma...), volcanic eruptions, etc.  But in our case, he gave us our leaders as our natural disasters. I wonder if this is true. 

To those wondering if indeed we are the happiest people on earth,
it is indeed true because we have learnt to laugh off our mistakes to avoid our past while daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sharpening our faults into perfection. 

So even in our pains, we choose to laugh.
That’s how we make our happiness last.
 So, to my brothers and sisters of Ipob, Igbos and Hausas, Benue and Fulani herdsmen, or farmers and herdsmen, stop fighting.  Whenever that huge part
of you wants to explode due to anger, stay calm.
Listen to that small voice in your head
saying no; walk away, because no matter how cheap the price of war is, the price of peace is always cheaper. 

In war, or crisis, one thing is certain no matter the victor or vanquished, there are victims on both sides. 
Even if you win, you will always be a prisoner of all you saw during the crisis.
So embrace love, peace and unity. 

Together and united we stand because
we are all we have and we will shine like the sun. So let freedom reign and truth prevail coz in the end, we are all we have. 

God bless Nigeria.
